Good Earth Supporting a Bright Green Future
Did you know every cup of Good Earth tea helps empower the next generation of environmental leaders?
Thanks to our partnership with 1% For The Planet, every purchase of Good Earth Tea helps support the amazing work of Bright Green Future, a free programme for 16–19-year-olds designed to make the green movement as diverse as the world we want to protect.
The scale of the opportunity and benefit it brings is difficult to sum up concisely, but we’ll have a go!
Bright Green Future goes way beyond textbooks. Young people get hands-on with real-world projects, like making council homes more energy-efficient; exploring sustainable fashion; and even helping set up electric car clubs in their neighborhoods. Some alumni have gone on to speak at international conferences too, including the United Nations’ Conference of Youth and joined other important forums shaping the next generation of environmental leaders.
Whatever they get involved with, Bright Green Future is all about building confidence and an inclusive community. Through workshops with experts, career coaching, nature rambles, and sunrise Tai Chi, students learn how to create positive change while connecting with professionals and local charities for internships.
The impact has been long-lasting - 94% of participants felt ready to lead sustainability projects after the programme, and 100% felt more confident in integrating eco-friendly ideas into their future careers!
